Veronika and Silesia — a studio photoshoot with a snake (Milka Studio, Warsaw)
“Veronika and Silesia at Milka Studio” is a studio photoshoot built on the contrast between the calm, fluid movement of the snake and the model’s confident, expressive presence. The shoot took place at Milka Studio in Warsaw, with photography by Anna Nizovaya.
In the frame is Silesia — a large, fully socialized albino boa constrictor, known for her graphic patterning and the refined, almost “jewelry-like” texture of her scales.
The series combines classic portraiture with a fashion-oriented aesthetic, focusing on hands, gaze, the curves of the snake’s body, and tactile interaction between the model and the animal. Special attention is given to details: the texture of the scales, the rhythm of the pattern, and clean studio lighting that emphasizes form and volume without visual noise.
This project will be useful for those looking for references for creative photoshoots with snakes, studio portrait styling, and examples of safe, controlled work with an animal on set.
